Wonderland Park was located on Ackerman Island which was located in the Arkansas River. One could reach the park via the Douglas Avenue Bridge which was slightly west of the Broadview Hotel.

They had all the attractions of a larger Amusement Park. The Figure 8 Roller Coaster was claimed to be the longest Roller Coaster in the United States in 1905.

Ackerman Island is gone. The Park reportedly closed when 'Blue Laws' were enacted. Not unusual as many Parks closed especially if liquer was banned.(prohibition)
