I have seen a listing of an ex-amusement park...Warner Park, Chattanooga.

I can find nothing at this time BUT there is a Warner Park. Its history is lacking.

The ZOO in Warner Park was established in 1937. No information prior to 1937.

A mention of 1942----- Subsequent animal donations increased the collection over the years, and by 1942, the park boasted lions, buffalo, bobcats, and alligators and was billed as Chattanooga's most popular free recreation center. The primary objective was family amusement and recreation.

In 2001 the name of the ZOO was changed to:The Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park.

UPDATE: Warner Park had a Roller Coaster named "Twister" that opened in 1928 and closed sometime between 1935 and 1938. Philadelphia Toboogan Company.
